f the Cincinnati Reds were the first major league baseball team, who did they play?

In response to last week’s question, “If the Cincinnati Reds were the first major league baseball team, who did they play?", my friend Richard concluded, "Apparently a bunch of amateurs!"

My engineering friend Steve suggested, "With themselves?" while my friend Kelly cautioned, "Hopefully not with themselves…"

My dad's beach buddy Bob declared, "The Waterloo Tomahawks."  Then my friend Royce queried, "The questions is did Pete Rose bet on 'em?"

My social media friend Mark wrote, "I think Pete Rose was the leadoff batter in that first game and hit a triple with a corked bat against the Cubs, who are still trying to win a big game? OK, maybe it was the Great Westerns of Cincinnati."

Then my cycling friend Ted explained, "That's the same question as 'If Adam and Eve were the first humans, then who did their children mate with? Either a parent or a sibling? It's an unholy question and should never be asked!"

Please share your thoughts about "things that make you go 'Hmmm' “:
What is a fair tax?

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
